EV Charger Installation

Learn more about EV Charger Installation.

Our installation service is able to install AmpCharge chargers on walls – the wall can be internal or external. At this stage we're unable to install on a pedestals or poles.

We’re able to install chargers in apartment buildings as long as your premises meets the eligibility requirements and you have approval by the relevant body corporate, site management or property owner. We can also install in rental properties with written permission from the owner. Written proof will need to be supplied to Ampol in both cases.

Every home is unique, and sometimes there are installations deemed unsafe or too far out of scope for our installation network. We reserve the right to decline such installation requests - if we do, we will notify you of our decision and you can proceed to sourcing your own licensed electrician or request a refund of your EV charger.
For full inclusions, services in addition and exclusions please see our FAQs

Any custom works carried outside of the above scope of the standard installation. We'll keep you informed throughout the process of any potential additional costs, either as part of our initial estimate or when our electrician is onsite.

Any non-standard installation work may result in a reschedule of installation due to the need to source extra materials and/or finalising payment. We won’t commence any non-standard installation works until we have provided you a cost estimate, and you have approved and paid for the additional works required.
